Opening Night Performance 1/6/2012
On January 6, 2012 the Holy Spirit made a special visit to Allston, MA.
Community of Love Christian Fellowship, founded by Rev. Dr. Emmett
Price III, held it's kick off service. The program featured the music
ministry of Stanley Porter. The artist provided forty-five minutes of urban
gospel music to a packed house. His set glorified God, and captivated
the audience with contemporary gospel, hip-hop and soul.
The crowd was as diverse as the music: Asians, African Americans,
European Americans, and Afro-Caribbean. The ages represented were
from as young as 12 to well over 50! There was a lot of love in the air as
Stanley took the stage with his band. Mr. Porter connected with the
audience by weaving personal stories and encouraging thoughts in
between selections. After the program Stanley said: "This was my first
time out on the road in about six months and I really had a great time
tonight! I'm excited about what this means for the months ahead."
Stanley plans to return to Community of Love in the near future and to
perform his original music across the East Coast of the United States this
